Letter from the Bottom of the Sea
Words and Music by Christopher White

Dear Reader up above,
Whoever you may be,
I am writing you this letter,
From the bottom of the sea.
I'm being held captive in a sunken castle.
I've tried to escape, but it's too much of a hassle,
And I'm just hoping that someone will rescue me.

Dear Reader up above,
I hope this message finds you well,
But I hope you understand,
The one it leaves is left in Hell.
I've been down here for 40 years,
The Ocean's rising with my tears,
And I'm just hoping that someone will rescue me.

I hope this message finds someone,
I hope the ink doesn't run,
I hope you get my postcard,
I hope you call the coastguard,
I hope the coast guard saves me,
From my fate under the sea,
Before I meet my demise.
I hope the ocean doesn't rise.

Dear Reader up above,
Whoever you may be,
I am writing you this letter,
From the bottom of the sea.
I'm being held captive in a sunken castle.
I've tried to escape, but it's too much of a hassle,
And I'm just hoping that someone will rescue me.
Sincerely, a man not seaworthy.
